Understand the traffic arriving at your short links
Learn what URLViral click analytics can measure and why social referral data may be incomplete.
Create your URLViral link →What counts as a recorded click?
A recorded click is a visit that reaches the URLViral link endpoint and is eligible for counting under the service’s analytics rules. It is not necessarily a unique person or a completed Amazon purchase.
Sources and referrers
A referring site may be visible when a browser supplies a referrer header. Instagram, Pinterest and other apps sometimes omit it. Campaign tagging can help where supported and allowed, but cannot restore data that was never sent.
Devices and operating systems
Browser user-agent information can help classify device types and operating systems, but may be incomplete or inaccurate. Treat these reports as directional rather than exact audience measurements.
Use analytics responsibly
Compare campaigns over time, avoid treating raw clicks as guaranteed shoppers, and do not infer Amazon commission attribution from short-link activity alone.
App opening, click attribution and Amazon affiliate commissions are not guaranteed. Always test links and follow the policies of Amazon and the platform where you share them.
